About us

MevaProd offers a range of databases primarily focussed on fleet management and related activities. Our custom solutions have no industry barriers and could relate to any business topic. Unique functionality is provided to suit client needs.

Back in 1994 whilst implementing UNIX based MRPII software, the opportunity to develop custom databases on the Windows platform came along.

Starting with highly functional Microsoft Access databases for departments within large corporates, the topics were varied. From employee management for the mining industry to the monitoring of projects at global chemical plants. We provided the first software package to handle government legislation related to the Skills Development Act.

As business evolved, the focus moved to all aspects of vehicle management. Larger databases required the deployment of Microsoft’s SQL Server.

A database to manage a large number of vehicles for local government was developed for a fleet contract company.

A vehicle insurance claims database was followed by a vehicle ‘quick-quote’ system that received client specs from web sites, prepared quotes, purchase orders and invoices.

A bulk-delivery database monitoring multiple shipments against one order and scheduling loads by truck size significantly improved productivity.

In 2007, development was started on a total fleet management solution that controls all vehicle transactions of an unlimited number of vehicles. This product has performed well offering significant savings vs. the software it replaced. Initially designed for a large corporate, the product was launched to the market as
FleetComplete  late last year.
